Transporting pigs is a major risk for the spread of disease such as African Swine Fever (ASF) and the transmission of foodborne zoonotic agents. The aim of this study was to evaluate the value of different methods for assessing cleaning and disinfection (CD) effectiveness that can be applied routinely and for verifying virus elimination.
