Using two complementary audit tools to investigate preweaning mortality and diarrhoea risk factors in pig farms
2026 · IFIP · eng
Neonatal diarrhoea is a common condition with major impacts on piglet survival, growth and welfare. In addition to medical prophylaxis, effective prevention relies on controlling various risk factors linked to animal and farrowing-house management and also associated with preweaning survival. This study investigates the complementarity of two different audit tools for identifying areas of improvement and preventing pre-weaning mortality
